As a trainee lawyer, you will naturally begin the Bar Association's vocational training program. You will also handle cases under the supervision of experienced lawyers, but with a certain degree of independence. We are looking for someone who fits well within our small team, can work independently, and is eager to learn and flexible. You have good language skills, are good with people, and are open to learning new things. An interest in immigration and asylum law is also a prerequisite. During the vocational training, you will naturally familiarize yourself with and gain experience in all the legal areas in which our firm operates.

Van der Toorn Advocaten is a socially responsible practice and is therefore characterized by an accessible approach. It is, of course, important that you can connect with this. This is a full-time position.

What we ask:

• You have a university working and thinking level;

• You have completed a degree in Dutch law;

• You are interested in asylum and immigration law in particular;

• You have good Dutch and English oral and written skills;

• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn and fit into our team.
